If you have an apple and I have an apple, and we have exchange these apples, then you and I will still each have one apple.

But if you have an idea and I have an idea, and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.

Value of each man depends upon the art and skill which he has attained

My research mainly focuses on the linkage between geomorphology, biology, microbiology, ecology and soil sciences. I am an active member of the International Association of Geomorphology (IAG) and I was a recipient of the IAG training office grant to participate in IAG 2013, Paris. Between years of 2008-2011, I received the grant of UNEP, CHEAM and ICTP for research on desertification forecasting, remote sensing and geomorphology.

I was scientific collaborator of FAO/UNEP and research assistant of ESAs, LADA, DeSurvey and DesertWatch projects in EU between 2005-2010.

I am currently looking for postgraduate students from developing countries interested in biogeomorphology and geomorphology-related microbial activities in arid and hyper-arid areas. - please email if you are interested in working with me.
